To my clients and prospective clients: if you emailed or called me in the past couple days, you received an automated response letting you know that I was definitely out of the office.
We have just wrapped up the Mardi Gras season here in south Louisiana, which runs from the Epiphany or King’s Day – January 6th through the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.
I reserve this time away from my business to make memories and practice traditions with my family and to enjoy the revelry and festivities with friends. I don’t apologize for it and my clients totally get it.
You see, I believe in walking my talk. I work with many clients who have worked their way to the top – they’ve climbed the ladder of success – only to get there and realize that they’ve become a slave to their work. Or they don’t feel fulfilled or lit up by their work any more, or they’ve got messed up relationships, or their health has suffered. Most of the time, it’s become a matter of their business running them rather than the other way around.
I help my clients do what I’ve done for myself, and that’s intentionally create the business/work and lifestyle that I want to live. Even if they’re in corporate – no especially if they’re in corporate. You see, as a woman executive or senior leader, it can be easy to think that if you want success, there’s only one way to achieve it, and that’s to sacrifice your soul.
But the truth is, the more you align your work with your core values and take care of yourself, including your personal relationships, the better you’ll be able to contribute at your highest level to your organization.
A fulfilled leader has a much greater positive impact and influence than someone who’s burnt out, stressed out, and ready to check out. Makes sense, right?
It’s not rocket surgery. But I get it – that you can be so caught up in the Juggle Struggle that you can’t see what is obvious to others.
If this sounds like you, you’re invited to a special The Juggle is Real Roundtable discussion designed especially for senior corporate leaders from Director to C-Suite role AND for women business owners generating six figures or more.
In this discussion, I’m bringing together select women executives to have a candid conversation about what’s really been going on and what you can do to maintain your sanity.
Together, we will reflect on 3 powerful questions that will fast-forward your focus and clarity as a leader in your business and in your life. Plus, based on similar discussions I’ve held, you’ll gain new ideas and inspiration from other amazing women in the virtual room!
You’ll also pick up some tips and tactics that are working for the members of my Women’s Leadership Roundtable.
Here are the details:
Friday, March 18th at 12 Noon CST
Participation is free, but you do need to register to get the Zoom link. Since this will be a conversation and not a webinar or training, we’ll want you to have your camera on so that we can all interact. Heck, feel free to munch on your lunch while we chat if you’d like!
To register, go to JenniferLedet.com/roundtable
Feel free to share this with a gal pal or a colleague who fits the bill and who would benefit from this discussion.
The question you need to ask yourself is
“Where will I be a year from today if I don’t make some changes in the way I’m living and leading?”
Come join us for some thought-provoking conversation. This isn’t about showing you what to do or how to do it, it is about offering you a safe place to land for a bit, a place where you are not going to be judged, where you can figure stuff out.
Hope to see you on March 18th!
